Wash kitchen curtains before starch additives use your normal washing method. Fill a large saucepan filled to three quarters of water, and heat until boiling. Mix 4 tbsp. of corn starch with 2 cups of cold water in a bowl. Use a whisk to remove all lumps. Pour the corn starch mixture into the boiling water and stir the mixture. Stir all the time while the water and mixture boil for four minutes, then remove from heat. Stirring will prevent starch from sticking to the bottom of the boiler.

Fill a 5-liter bucket halfway with hot tap water. Pour the starch mixture into the bucket, and stir well mix. Dilution of starch will prevent your curtains from becoming too rigid. Place your curtains ikea in the bucket. Use rubber gloves to extend your curtains to starch solution. Remove the curtains from the bucket, and place them in the washing machine for a slight spin. This will remove excess water. Remove the curtains and place them in the dryer at a low level. Frequently check to prevent over-drying. Remove immediately when dry and iron if needed.
