Kitchen door curtains – Hang a curtain of beads on the kitchen door and you will never have to remind your family to close the door again. Beaded curtains are also useful to block the view in a kitchen, while allowing you to enter and leave the room with your hands full easily. The acrylic beads are molded into strings, while the wood and bamboo grains are strung individually. Both styles are easy to hang.
Measure the width of the door. If your bead curtain has a bar on top, use a saw to cut the excess width. If your curtain has a unique pattern, cut half the extra length at each end so that your pattern will stay centered. If you have an acrylic bead curtain, remove the end cap before cutting the bar. Replace the cover before hanging the bar.
Use a hammer and a small nail to make a boot hole for the hook screws on the top of the door opening. Make the one-inch holes from the edge of the door frame on each side. Insert the nail 1/2 inch and remove it. Screw the hook screws into the hand. Hang the curtain rod on the cup hooks. Use scissors to cut the excess width of a curtain with a soft top. Zigzag the edges to prevent wear or seal them with a liquid scuffle-suppressor.
